Kent Library To Offer Genealogy Software Program

KENT, N.Y. – The Kent Public Library will welcome back Alan Steinfeld for a presentation on genealogy software Wednesday.

Steinfeld will present "Working with Genealogy Software and Online Databases," from 6-7:30 p.m.

The presentation will lay out how best to use genealogy software and to get the most out of your family information, according to a press release.

Attendees will get the help needed to better understand family data and what kind of charts and reports can be generated from the numbers, according to a press release.

Steinfeld also will discuss the various ways to improve searches, including optimal techniques and the best databases on the market, according to a press release.
